Splitting up

Sometimes after many attempts at trying to make things better, a couple decide that the best way forward is for them to split up. This might be a mutual decision but many times one partner takes the initiative in leaving and the other feels left behind (or ‘dumped’). Counselling can help to clarify the issues and face the difficulties and decisions that need to be taken and move the process forwards. People may attend sessions separately or together.
